A celebration of life for Ray “Bo” Baum Jr will be held at a later date. It was his wish to be cremated. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Bo passed away on Friday, April 19, 2024, at the Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus due to health complications. He was born on August 10, 1965, in Kenton to the late Janice (Ellis) and Ray Baum Sr. He married Jessica Nelson on November 23, 2019, and she survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are his daughter, Saylor Baum of Sidney, a son, Seth Nelson of Kenton, a sister, Chris (Kenny) Mclane of Kenton, brother, Kelly (Ann) Baum of Findlay, and a special cousin, Larry Wells Sr.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Ellis, 2 sisters, Sherry Grigaliunas, Anna May Baum and a niece, Stacy Ellis.

Bo enjoyed working with his hands, whether it was laying block/brick or working on cars. He loved car races and looking at antique cars. He was always looking to wheel and deal on anything. 

Bo was a giving person who would help anyone who asked for it. He will be missed by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Bo’s honor may be made to Not By Choice or the Amvets Post 1994 Riders.
