Obituary for Raymond R. Burton

Raymond R. Burton age 80 of Forest, died at his residence on May 9, 2022. He was born Feb. 24, 1942 to the late George and Lillian Burton.

He married Betty Nelson on Oct. 11, 1960, she preceded him in death on Feb. 25, 2022.  Surviving is a son Kevin (Anita) Burton, Forest, Betty Jo (Mark) Obenour, Dunkirk, Lil (Larry) Shepherd, Dunkirk, Shelly (Ronnie) Nease, Forest, 10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, sisters Hazel Horn, Forest and Janet Baldridge, Findlay. He is preceded in death by a son Benjamin Burton, 2 grandchildren, 4 brothers and 6 sisters.

Mr. Burton enjoyed playing his guitar and banjo.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30PM Fri. May 13, 2022 in Hueston Cemetery, Forest.  Visitation will be held from 10:00AM-12:00PM on Fri. May 13, 2022 at Clark Shields Funeral Home, Forest.
