Services for Richard Kissling will be private. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.
Richard passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at his residence in Kenton. He was born on February 14, 1933 in McGuffey to the late Lacy and Ilo (Good) Kissling. On January 11, 1957 he married Janice Wolfley and she preceded him in death on June 30, 2000.
Surviving are a daughter; Kathy (Mike) Kleman, a son; Keith (Jan) Kissling, grandchildren; Crystal Marling, Angel (Travis) Evans, Drew (Emily) Kissling, Jarrod (Allison) Kissling, 14 great-grandchildren, a sister; Ann Spradlin, a brother; David (Jean) Kissling, a sister-in-law; Marion Kissling, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a grandson; Shane Kleman, and 2 brothers; Robert and Charles Kissling.
Richard was a U.S. Navy Veteran serving from 1952 to 1956.
He worked at RBM then went to work for Rockwell until his retirement in 1994.
Richard enjoyed his 5 years of mowing and taking care of the new ballpark. He was very thankful for the opportunity.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Kenton Little League or Universal Home Health and Hospice.
