Obituary For Richard O. Clark

Richard O. Clark age 81, Upper Sandusky, formerly of Carey died at the Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on Mon. Feb. 10, 2020. He was born Apr. 8, 1938 in Marion Co. to the late William J. and Lena G. (Bell) Clark. He married Sue Ann Pahl on July 7, 1958 in Angola, IN.

He is survived by children Joseph (Denise) Clark, Upper Sandusky, Richard “Tony” (Linda) Clark, TN, Daniel (Connie) Clark, Upper Sandusky, Kurtis (Ann) Clark, Upper Sandusky, Matthew (Barbara) Clark, Lima, Elveda Ralph, Marion, Sara (Jay) Brown, Upper Sandusky, grandchildren Ashley Clark, Derek Clark, Tony Ray Clark, Krista (Mike) Tanner, Casey Clark, Daniel Clark Jr., Shelby Clark, Tyler Lee (Amanda) Clark, Taylor (Ben) Cunningham, Tyler James Clark, Tiffany (Jake) Jones, Dalton (Sara) Clark, great grandchildren Emery Clark, Alexis Heistand, Ayden Elliott, Beau Cunningham, Scarlett Clark, Willow Cunningham, Jaydon Jones, Trae Forster, Jakob Jones, Jase Jones, Jasper Ray Jones, Kathryn Clark, Penley Clark, Tayven Jones, sisters Betty Chester, TX, Sharon (Steve) Miller, Upper Sandusky, a brother William (Pam) Clark, Upper Sandusky, a sister-in-law Waneta Clark, Carey. He is preceded in death by a son-in-law Mike Ralph and a brother J. Leroy Clark.

Mr. Clark graduated from Carey High School with the class of 1958. Mr. Clark was a member of Our Lady of Consolation and served as a RICA volunteer. He had been a fireman for the Village of Carey and a dispatcher for the Carey Police Department. He retired from National Lime and Stone Co. after 27 years of employment. Mr. Clark was member of the Moose Lodge, Carey, K of C, Upper Sandusky, and Carey Conservation Club.

He enjoyed attending The Sandusky River Valley Gospel Music Festivals. He enjoyed family camping trips, fishing, gardening, baking cookies and cupcakes, woodworking, and was a Mr. Fix-it for his family. He was always willing to help anyone in need. Richard enjoyed life the most by spending time with his family and having his wife Sue by his side for the past 61 years.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Fri. Feb. 14, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. at the Our Lady of Consolation, Carey with Friar John Bamman OFM, Conv. officiating. Interment will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Carey. Visitation is from 2-4 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. at the Bringman Clark Funeral Home on Thurs. Feb. 13, 2020 with a Catholic Prayer Service at 7 p.m. following visitation. Memorials may be made to Wyandot County Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center or Hospice of Wyandot County in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351.
