Obituary for Richard R. Price

Richard R. Price age 84 of Forest passed away peacefully at Bridge Hospice Care Center on Sat. July 27, 2024. He was born Dec. 9, 1939 in Forest to the late Lester Robert and Alma Pearl (Yeryar) Price.

He married Joyce Sons on Feb. 13, 1957 and she survives in Forest. Mr. Price is also survived by his children Debbie Sue (Gary) Brown, Mt. Blanchard, Leona Fite, Forest, Dick (Gina) Price, Forest, 10 grandchildren Catherine (Tyson) Borkosky, Chris Deringer, Benjamin (Meredith Leanne) Blankenship, Nancy (Scott) Wilson, Bridget (Kevin) Dixon, Ashley (John) Schreiner, Samantha (Corey) Yaklin, Kayla (Bryan) Golding, Kylie (Kyle) Sloan, Scott Kin, 22 great grandchildren Meghan, Brandi, Derek, Nora, Wesley, Debbie “Doodle”, Anna Belle, Lincoln, Tanner, Jaden, Kendall, Benjamin, Maddie Kate, Markus, Trent, Lily “Lil Wolf”, Brodey, Paxtyn, Lakelyn, Wyatt, Jacob, Samantha, 4 great great grandchildren Hayden, Serena, Ellison, Olivia, and a brother Thomas (Barbara) Price, Forest. He is preceded in death by a son in law Ken Fite, grandsons Trevor Price and Robert Paul Price, granddaughter Krista Kin, sisters Patricia Stiles and Mary Lou Thompson.

Mr. Price worked at UAP/Triumph for 44 years. He enjoyed the outdoors especially hunting and fishing, taking photos of wildlife, and playing and singing gospel music. He was always a humble man, and his family was most important to him.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00AM Wed. July 31, 2024 in Hueston Cemetery, Forest.
