Obituary For Robert “Bob” Clinton Minix

Robert “Bob” Clinton Minix age 64 of Kenton, died at his residence on Tues. Mar. 3, 2020.

He was born on Nov. 19, 1955 in Jackson, MI to the late William and Rosa (Stacy) Minix. He married Sue Crowe on Mar. 8, 1979, they later divorced. Mr. Minix is survived by daughters Stacey (Jeremiah) Hensley, Alger, Stephanie (Mark) Hays, Kenton and a son William (Abby) Minix, McGuffey, grandchildren Jeremy
(Katelyn) Hensley, Jacob Hensley, Hunter Hensley, Drayton Palmer, Haylee Minix and Fiona Hays with two grandchildren are on the way, Stella Rose Hays and Braylynn Rose Minix, sisters Shirley (Jerald) Whitaker, Dunkirk, Marsha (Gary) Meade, Fremont, Cheryl (Dennis) Lenhart, Dunkirk and Nancy Hadding, Ottawa. He is preceded in death by a brother Danny Lee Minix and a sister Pamela (Scott) Hall.

He was a 1974 graduate of Hardin Northern High School. Bob was an avid car mechanic and fan of hunting and enjoyed fishing, antiques cars and riding his motorcycle in the past before health issues made it to difficult to continue. He loved to laugh and had a wicked sense of humor. He was a great cook, he hosted many holiday dinners in years past, beside the outdoors he loved being in the kitchen. But, most of all he loved being a grandpa, known to his grandkids as Papaw Bob.
