Obituary for Ronald J. Rahrig

Ronald J. Rahrig, 93 of Findlay and formerly of Forest, Kenton and Florida passed away at Sunrise Assisted Living on Sunday, October 24, 2021.  He was born on May 12, 1928 to the late Olan and Ola (Zimmerman) Rahrig.  He married Donna M. Humphreys on March 1, 1951 and she preceded him in death.  He is survived by a son Ronald J., Jr.  “John” Rahrig (Jill) of Findlay; a daughter, Sharon M. Rahrig Snoke (Patrick) of Forest; grandchildren, Christopher J. Rahrig (Kathryn) of Ostrander, OH, Shannon M. Snoke of Lancaster, OH; Scott Snoke of Forest, OH and Andrea L. Snoke Fulks (Jason) of Perrysburg, OH; great-grandchildren, Ella and Delaney Rahrig and Patrick Tripp Fulks.
He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Donald W. Rahrig and a brother Denham G. Rahrig.
Mr. Rahrig was a graduate of Forest High School.  He was self-employed and owned and operated Rahrig Sales & Service, Rahrig Sales, Inc. and Rahrig Tree Co., Inc., D& R Parts and Equipment (NAPA) in Forest, OH.  He was a member of Forest United Methodist Church, the Mt. Vernon Masonic Lodge in Mt. Vernon, OH and the Elks Lodge #157 in Kenton, OH.
At his request, all services will be private.  A graveside service will be held for the family at Hueston Cemetery, Forest, OH. Memorials can be made to the Forest United Methodist Church and online condolences can be shared with the family by visiting coldrencrates.com.  Arrangements have been entrusted to COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.
