Obituary for Ronald L. Titus

Ronald L. Titus, 75 of Kenton passed away on Friday, March 4, 2022.  Ron was born in Kenton, Ohio  on December 18, 1946 to the late Leonard E. and Ruth Anna (Flowers) Titus.  He married Judy Long and she preceded him in death.  Ron is survived by his brother, Roger (Sherrill) Titus of Kenton, son-in-law Ronnie Sweeney, Jr of Bucyrus, three grandchildren; Dalton (Mahalia) Sweeney, Savannah Sweeney, Garrett Sweeney and his life-long friend, Dave and Sharon Burd.  Ron was preceded in death by his daughter, Ronna L. Sweeney and sister, Sharon (Ben) Shroyer.  Ron was a 1966 graduate of Kenton Senior High School. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. He worked for Conrail/CSX Railroad and Kenton City Schools as a bus driver. He was a life member of the Kenton Elks #157 and was also a member of the Moose Lodge.  Ron enjoyed spending time with his dog, Meria.  A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM Wednesday until the time of service. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Ron to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
