RosaNell Rader, 89 of rural Forest passed away on Saturday, December 4, 2021. She was born in Dudley Township of February 11, 1932 to the late Jacob and Hannah (Born) Sherman.  On June 14, 1953 she married Emery M. Rader and he preceded her in death on November 3, 2014. Surviving are four children; Judy (Russell) Blue of Kenton, Jane (Allen) Wright of Rushville, IL, Sherman (Mindy-Deceased) Rader of Caddamills, TX and Annette Rhoades of Kenton.  Mrs. Rader is also survived by nine grandchildren; Christopher (Heather) Blue, Bradford (Kera) Blue, Lindsey (Daniel)  Heckathorn, Kari (Ken) Franck, Tiffany (Will) Wetzel, Tyler (Rian) Rader, Erin (Stephanie) Rader, Ashley (Jeff Shaw) Taylor, Wade (Andi Jaynes) Rhoades, 21 great grandchildren, four step great grandchildren,  brothers; Dale (Jane) Sherman, Jacob (Dorothy) Sherman,  sister, Jeannie (Jim) Lyle and sister-in-law, Shirley Sherman. She was preceded in death by her siblings; Jim Sherman, Carl Sherman, Lester Sherman, Mae Louise Scheiderer, Ralph Sherman, Ida Lou Sherman and Vernon Sherman. She was an avid Ohio State Fan and loved to watch her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities. RosaNell was a homemaker and a member of the Salem United Church of Christ and the Salem Women’s Guild. She was also a 50 year member of the Goshen Grange and previously served as a 4-H advisor. Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, December 9, 2021 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM on Friday, December 10, 2021 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Rev. John Mummart officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made in memory of RosaNell to the Salem United Church of Christ.
