Obituary for Russell H. Frost

A visitation for Russell H. Frost will be held on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton. A private burial will take place at Grove Cemetery. Covid-19 guidelines should be followed including mask wearing.

Russell died on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at his residence. He was born on October 5, 1938 in Kenton to the late Albert and Betty (Hastings) Frost. He married Jane Frost in 1981 and she preceded him in death.

Surviving are son Michael (Julia) Frost of Plain City, sister Judy (Donald) Kinney of Kenton, granddaughter Emma Frost, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by a brother, Roger Frost.

Russell was a retired U.S. Army Veteran. He worked for Durez for over 30 years until his retirement. Russell was involved with several local organizations including being a member of the Kenton Church of the Nazarene, a long time member of the Hardin County Democratic Party and he volunteered for the Hardin Memorial Hospital for several years. When Russell wasn’t busy, he enjoyed watching the OSU Buckeyes, Cleveland Browns and Indians.
