Sandra “Sandy” Sue Krischan age 83 of southwest Wyandot county passed away January 4, 2024 at Lima Memorial Hospital. She was born July 10, 1940 in Bethesda, Ohio to the late Ray C. & Mildred (Simpson) Phillips.
Sandy married Ronald C. Krischan on May 16, 1980 and they shared 43 loving years together. She is survived by her husband, Ron. Also surviving are her children Gerald Dieter (Tammy), Randy Dieter, Dana Dieter, Nick Mihailoff Jr., Gail Ebert (Bill), Brenda Furrer (Barry), Todd Krischan (Terri), Ryan Krischan (Jean), 19 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, and brother John Phillips (Kendra) Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her brother, James Phillips, daughter Lori Dieter Whitcomb and grandson, Jeff Ebert.
Sandy was a secretary and bookkeeper at Global Door and then Todco. After retirement, she enjoyed working part-time at Oates Veterinarian Clinic in Kenton and breeding many litters of Golden Retrievers. Sandy loved aquacise, gardening, canning, cooking, baking, painting artwork, traveling, attending concerts and spending time in Cancun, Mexico. She also loved meeting with her Kenton coffee club crew. Most of all, she treasured spending time with her family and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 3-6pm Tue. January 16, 2024 at Bringman Clark Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky. A memorial service will follow at 6PM. A celebration of Sandy’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society (or to an organization of the donor’s choice), in care of Bringman Clark Funeral Home 226 E. Wyandot Ave. Upper Sandusky, OH 43351. Bringman Clark Funeral Home is honored to serve the Krischan family.
