Obituary For Shane Albert Ardee Manns

Shane Albert Ardee Manns, 40 of Kenton, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023.  He was born in Kenton on September 19, 1982 to Kevin A. Manns and Eva Lightner.

Shane is survived by his parents: Kevin (Christina) Manns and Eva (Edgar McKean) Lightner; children: Kailr Manns, Amiya Manns, Shane Manns, Jr, Samarah Manns and David Edison Nelson; fiancé: Nanette Dreher; step-children: Heather Bethel Manns and Kaylee Rush; sisters: Sherry Manns, Nicky Manns, Becky Bailey and Marie Romero; grandmother: Sherry Lightner; step-brother: Dalton Ramirez; step-sisters: Zoya Meeks and Olivia Meeks; grandson: Drayvian Kele Church and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his son: Tyron Manns and grandparents: Roy Ligtner and Juanita and Albert Manns.

Shane was an amazing father and loved his children very much.  He was very sarcastic and funny.  His family will remember him as a happy person with a smile on his face.  He enjoyed working on four wheelers during his free time.

Shane was very proud of his employment at Graphic Packaging International as well as the truck he drove.  

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at 4pm at the Kenton Eagles #2163, 10750 US Highway 68, Kenton.  Arrangements are entrusted to SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  Online condolences may be sent to the family at stoutcrates.com.
