Shane E. Harmon 42
of Bellefontaine
Funeral services for Shane Harmon will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 22, 2021 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Rev. Tim Kohl officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery in Kenton. Friends and family may visit 2 hours prior to services at the funeral home. The family has asked that everyone wear masks as well as their favorite, OSU, Reds, or 49’s gear.
Shane died on Friday, September 17, 2021 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus. He was born on July 13, 1979 in Killeen, Texas to Nelson E. Harmon of West Liberty and Angela (Roderick) Gaver of Ridgeway.
Also surviving are his fiance; Stacy Conner of Belefontaine, 2 daughters; Lillian and Bella Harmon of Bellefontaine, 2 sons; Jace and Axel Harmon of Bellefontaine, 4 sisters; Vickie (Rob) Justice of Tampa, Liz (Mike) McDaniel of Findlay, Tanya (Shane) Breuers of Wadsworth, Stephanie (Dominick DeAngelis) McClain of Lakeview, a brother; Jason Kennedy of South Carolina, grandmothers; Barbara Newland of Big Springs, Shirley Elliott of Bellefontaine, and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his grandfathers; Robert E. Newland and Burl Harmon.
Shane was a 1997 graduate of Ben Logan High School and was currently employed by NEX in Marysville.
He was an avid sports fan, and his favorite teams were the OSU Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds and the San Francisco 49’s. Shane also loved anything to do with Star Wars and the Deadpool movies. Often watching the movies and quoting them.
Shane loved his children dearly and they were the best part of his life. He loved playing with them and coaching their baseball teams.
Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home in care of the family.
