Obituary for Shirley Ann Mattox (Puckett)

Shirley Ann Mattox (Puckett), 56 of Bellefontaine passed away at Mary Rutan Hospital on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.  She was born in Urbana on September 1, 1965 to the late William and Madeline (Pesky) Mattox.  She first married Thomas Puckett and they divorced she later married Kenneth Taylor (divorced), both survive.  Also surviving are her children, Thomas, Jr. ( Jennifer) Puckett and Joni (Nathan) Frankel; fourteen grandchildren, Chad, Ashley, Larry, Tyler, Derek, Matthew, Katelynn, Andrea, Judy, Gracie, Chasetan, Logan, Kodiak, Lillith and Natalie; step-children, Doug Taylor, Lou Taylor, Linda Bradley and Gina Walke.  Six siblings survive her, Bobby, Timmy, Mikey, Eddie, Donny, Janet and Susie along with several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a step-son, Wayne Taylor.

Shirley was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She had a great love for country music and enjoyed dancing anytime music was on.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 with Pastor Steve Walter officiating.  Burial will follow in Miami Cemetery, Rushylvania, OH. Visitation will be held for two hours prior to the service (11:00am-1:00pm) on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorials can be directed to the funeral home and online condolences can be shared by visiting stoutcrates.com.
