Obituary for Shirley M. Rowe

A celebration of life for Shirley M. Rowe will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Shirley died on Sunday, March 21, 2021, at the Hardin Memorial E.R. in Kenton.

She was born on December 7, 1947 in Kenton to the late Kelly and Irene (Brewer) Rowe.

Surviving are daughter Lisa (Leo Close) Coleman of Bellefontaine, son Tim (Melissa) Ervin of Kenton, sisters Louise (Burnise) Perry of Raleigh, N.C., Jo (Roy) Robinson of Ridgeway, and Iris Mumaugh of Kenton, four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by son Kelly Ervin and daughter Michelle Ervin.

Shirley attended the House of Prayer Penetecostal Church in Kenton. She enjoyed puzzle books, Bingo and playing solitaire. She also collected angel figurines and loved cats. Shirley was outgoing and never knew a stranger. She would talk to anyone and try to make their day better.
