Obituary for Sondra Sue Scott

Sondra Sue Scott died at Marion General Hospital on October 20, 2021. She was 78 years old.

          She was born in Hardin County, Ohio on July 11, 1943 to Jesse and Alice (Hunsicker) Scott and lived in Hardin County most of her life which began in Fouracre, OH. Sondra attended McGuffey High School and later co-owned a furniture store in Kenton.

          While raising six children, she loved the country life and was an excellent gardener and cook.  In her later years, she volunteered at Helping Hands Ministry in Kenton, Ohio and cared for her dogs Dusty and Teddy. Sondra loved her family and spending time with them.

          She is survived by five children; Peggy (Denny) Wells, De Anna (Ralph) Dorman, Steven Conley, Darin Conley and Cindi (Bruce) Mendenhall; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Left behind also are Teddy and Dusty, her beloved dogs. One son, Joshua Allen Born, preceded her in death.

          Sondra will rest alongside her son, Joshua. A memorial service will be held at a later date. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her.
