Obituary for Sue E. Pollacek
Sue E. Pollacek, 79, of Findlay passed away at the Blanchard Valley Hospital, Findlay, on Monday, December 30, 2024. She was born on August 16, 1945 in Kenton, OH to the late Robert and Virginia (Dodds) McAdow. On June 21, 1975 she married W. John Pollacek who survives in Findlay.Survivors include daughter Alison (Sean) Matson of Bowling Green. Sister Lee Ann (Tom) Bidwell, nieces and nephews, Taylor Bidwell, Justin (Jillian) McAdow, Ronny McAdow & Ginny Beveridge. Predeceased by stepmother Helen McAdow and siblings, Ron McAdow and Robin McAdow.Sue spent 35 years working for Findlay City Schools as an elementary teacher. She enjoyed reading, and family trips to Disney World. Cleveland sports, Indians, Browns and Cavs along with BGSU womens basketball, volleyball and scrapbooking. Her favorite time of the year was Christmas time.A visitation for Sue will be held on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 4pm-7pm at the COLDREN-CRATES FUNERAL HOME, Findlay.
