A memorial service for Terry Lee Nichols will be held at a later date. The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton is assisting the family with arrangements.

Terry passed away on Friday, October 13, 2023, at his residence in Kenton. He was born on September 16, 1949, in Kenton to the late Ovie and Mae (Perkins) Nichols. He married Jane Ann Schieber and she survives in Kenton.

Also surviving are a daughter; Brandy Ruttinger, 2 stepsons; Jonathon (Sheila) Bryan Hart, James (Victor Gaffin) Gary Hart, grandchildren; Nathaniel Ruttinger, Elliott Hart, a great-grandson; Oliver Lee Ruttinger and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his siblings; Arnold Nichols, James Nichols, Jane Nichols, Pam Morlock, Ida Poling and a niece, Sandy Mulholland.

Terry graduated from Kenton High School. He was a proud US Army Veteran and a life member of the Amvets Post 1994 Kenton. Terry retired from Rockwell in Kenton. 

In his free time, Terry was an avid golfer. He would play golf any chance he got. He also enjoyed wintering in Florida with his wife, were they owned a condo. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Terry’s honor may be made to the Amvets Post 1994.
