Obituary for Tracy Deann Settlemire

Tracy Deann Settlemire, 47 of rural Findlay passed away at her residence on Thursday, February 8, 2024.  She was born in Atlantic, Iowa on November 18, 1976.  She married Weston Settlemire on September 1, 2010 and he survives along with her mother, Barbara Hastings, of Dunkirk; three sons, Tyler (Brittany Reigle) Richard, Seth Richard, both of Arlington and Waylon Settlemire, at home; two grandchildren, Savannah and Jackson.  Also surviving her are: three brothers, Jerry (Terry) Smith of Celina, James (Amber) Smith of Dunkirk and Derek (Reagan) Hastings of Forest; a sister, Karen Benninger of TN; in-laws, Don and Stacy Settlemire of Findlay; sister-in-law, Kelsi (Travis) Hardwick of Lima and numerous, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Smith, step-father, Gerald Hasting and a brother, Donald Hastings.
Tracy attended Hardin-Northern High School (Class of 1995) and received her GED in 1997 from Ohio Hi-Point.  She worked for Lowe’s RDC #990 for 20+ years.  She enjoyed crafts, decorating, flowers, shopping, baking, and the Christmas season.  She was an avid fan of the University of Michigan and the Raiders.  Tracy loved spending time with her family and was very proud to be a grandma.
Funeral services will be held at CRATES FUNERAL HOME Friday, February 16, 2024 at 11am with Pastor Gregg King officiating.  Burial will follow in Dunkirk Cemetery.  Visitation will be held from 5-8pm Thursday at the funeral home.
