Obituary for Tyler Christopher Renfrew

Tyler Christopher Renfrew, 35 of Kenton passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Monday, October 18, 2021.  He was born in Kenton on October 4, 1986 to Tim and Brenda Renfrew.  Tyler is survived by his mother, Brenda Renfrew of Xenia, his significate other of 12 years, Jennifer Fleming, their two sons; Travis and Bryce Renfrew, Jennifer’s daughter, Trinity Fink, brother Bob Anderson of St. Mary’s, Ohio, sister, Megan (Wesley Shoemaker) Renfrew of Xenia, three nephews; Ethan, Evan and Brady Anderson, nieces, Kinsley and Aubrey Shoemaker and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  Tyler was preceded in death by his father, Tim Renfrew. He was a 2005 graduate of Kenton Senior High School. He was a hard worker who enjoyed his job at Roki America, always working overtime to provide well for his family. Tyler and Travis had a love of movies, video games and wrestling. Tyler and Bryce shared so much fun rough housing together. Bryce was born with Autism and is non-verbal. Tyler had such a loving and patient way with Bryce and they were best buddies.  Tyler also enjoyed music  and sports. He was a Cleveland fan through and through, rooting for the Browns, Indians and Cavaliers. He was also an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan and created a family fantasy football league 8 years ago that his family greatly enjoys and plans to continue in Tyler’s memory. Visitation for Tyler will be held on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 1:00 – 5:00 PM at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  A private family service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the family c/o the funeral home to be used for the continued care of his sons, Travis and Bryce. While attending the visitation, the family requests that masks be worn by everyone and to please dress casual and wear your favorite College or Pro team shirt.
