Wayne A. “Beano” Mendenhall, 51, of Kenton passed away on Thursday, October 7, 2021. He was born in Kenton on January 14, 1970 to the late Wayne and Carolyn Mendenhall.

Beano is survived by his fiancé, Brandi McQuown; and four children: Aubrey Mendenhall, Mercedes Mendenhall, Tasmin Mendenhall, and Trea Mendenhall, all of Kenton; and five grandchildren: Alaina, Aiden, Alivia, Joshua and Jonah. He is also survived by his sisters: Thelma (Thomas) Howe and Shantee (Hank) Chamberlain. He was preceded in death by his sister, Annette Mendenhall.

Beano was a 1988 graduate of Kenton Senior High School. He was the owner of Mendenhall Contracting. Beano was a hard working guy who enjoyed his work. He was a people person and made friends everywhere he went. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren grow up and also enjoyed Ohio State Football.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 1:00 – 3:00 & 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  Burial will follow in Grove Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made to the family in c/o the Schindewolf-Stout-Crates Funeral Home.  Online condolences can be expressed to the family by visiting stoutcrates.com
