Obituary for Wesley D. Freshcorn

Wesley D. Freshcorn, 66 of Kenton passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021 at his residence. He was born in Lima on September 3, 1955 to the late Reed and Lauretta (Barnes) Freshcorn.  On Decemebr 27, 1975, he married Diane Comstock and she survives along with two sons;  Jared (Julie) Freshcorn and Eric Freshcorn both of Kenton. He is also survived by two grandsons; Joshua and Justin Freshcorn, two brothers; Allen Freshcorn of Kenton, Gene (Judy) Freshcorn of Marysville and a sister, Anne Gearheart of Columbus.  Wesley was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Johnson. He was a 1973 graduate of Ben Logan High School.  Mr. Freshcorn was a life-long farmer and member of Flat Branch Church where he served as a trustee.  He had a passion for his family, farming and helping others in need. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME.  A Funeral Service will begin at 11:00 am on Friday, September 17, 2021 at the SCHINDEWOLF-STOUT-CRATES FUNERAL HOME with Pastor Barry Hall officiating. Burial will follow in Norman Cemetery.  Memorial contributions can be made in memory of Wesley to Universal Home Health and Hospice.
