William Douglas Searls, age 63, of Upper Sandusky, died Mar. 15, 2021, at Fairhaven Health Care Community.
He was born Oct. 3, 1957 in Wyandot Co. to the late Marion and Mildred (Goble) Searls Sr.
He is survived by brothers Albert Searls, Upper Sandusky, Marion Searls Jr., Kenton, Wilbur Searls, Upper Sandusky, Raymond Searls, VA; sisters Mary Smith, Upper Sandusky, Martha Prince, Nevada, Ruth Cole, Upper Sandusky, Rozetta DeJean, Nevada, Dorris Messmer, Upper Sandusky, Wanda Montgomery, Nevada, Kathy Daum, Marion; and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Searls is preceded in death by brothers Donald, Earl and Gideon Searls and sisters Mildred Searls and Cindy Bell.
Mr. Searls was a 1977 graduate of Upper Sandusky High School. He had worked at Burger King, the former IGA Grocery, and L & K Restaurant. Mr. Searls was an avid OSU Buckeyes fan.
A graveside will be held will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thurs., Mar. 18, 2021, in the Hueston Cemetery, Forest, with Chaplain Steve Sturgeon officiating. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. in the Bringman Clark Funeral Home and OSU dress attire is encouraged.
