A number of Ohioans have been asking if it is legal to carry a concealed weapon while wearing a face covering.
Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost stated that there has been some misinformation being spread through social media on the topic.
The Attorney General said that in Ohio, concealed carry laws do not prohibit a citizen from carrying a concealed firearm while wearing a mask as long as that person is also carrying their concealed carry license and abiding by all Ohio concealed carry laws.
Face coverings are required in several Ohio counties and more and more stores are requiring customers to wear them while shopping to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus.
