A man who serves as the Superintendent of Water Treatment for the City of Kenton is also the certified water treatment plant operator at Alger, Dunkirk, McGuffey, Holiday Shores mobile home park and Logan Landing RV Resort, according to the Ohio EPA.

Dale W. Albert was indicted by a recent Grand Jury on two unclassified felony counts having to do with violations of safe drinking water requirements.

The charges were filed in Hardin County Common Pleas Court.

The Ohio EPA confirmed that there is an active case involving Albert, but because the investigation is ongoing, they could not comment on the matter further.

The agency did state that they have no reason to believe the drinking water provided by any of these public water systems is unsafe.

Albert is scheduled to arraigned in Court on January 17, 2024.
