Ohio First Lady Fran DeWine held a book reading in Kenton this afternoon to promote enrollment in Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library of Ohio.

Statewide, the Imagination Library has enrolled over 355,000 kids, totaling 49% of eligible kids within Ohio.

The Imagination Library mails kids one high-quality, age-appropriate book each month until their 5th birthday.

All Ohio children – from birth to age 5 – are eligible to be enrolled in the program at no cost to their family.

Ohio’s First Lady was at the Mary Lou Johnson Hardin County District Library.

She said she has been to 85 of Ohio’s 88 counties for a book reading so far.
