OhioHealth Urgent Care – Kenton will be changing its operating hours to noon to 8 p.m. effective Monday, September 14.

Jim Whitaker, OhioHealth Hardin Memorial Hospital’s Director of Nursing stated, “We feel it is a good time to change the hours back to noon to 8 p.m. to better serve our community. As the COVID-19 pandemic evolves we are continually looking at what is best for our community. We are also approaching flu season and we want to be sure our community has every opportunity to see a provider. This allows us to give them that opportunity being open a little later in the evening.”

This change will affect when patients can enter through the main entrance. The main entrance will now be open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends.

Urgent Care Services are conveniently located just inside the main entrance of Hardin Memorial Hospital, seven days a week. As a reminder urgent care is a low cost alternative service and for anyone requiring care for injuries and illnesses like the sinus infections, flu, colds/allergies, minor cuts and lacerations, sprains, and animal/insect bites. With the location of the urgent care inside the hospital, there is quick access to our lab and x-ray departments for any additional testing that may need to be done.

As our hospital has now resumed most services, we continue to put the safety of our patients, associates and providers first. We have taken extraordinary measures to keep our hospital safe during the COVID-19 pandemic and are ready to deliver the care you need without compromising your sense of comfort.
