In light of the reported COVID-19 cases at Kenton Nursing and Rehab, Sharon Huston, Hardin Hills Administrator, met with Hardin County Commissioners and discussed the situation.

Huston said one employee also works at Hardin Hills and the Commissioners agreed to place the shared employee in quarantine.

Hardin Hills staff is doing a physical assessment every 8 hours on each resident.

If a resident leaves the facility they are automatically quarantined for fourteen days.

The facility is not taking any admissions from any nursing home that has residents or staff who tested positive.

Ohio does not have enough test kits, so Huston is working with the Health Department to have all residents and staff tested at Hardin Hills.
