Online Applications for Junior Fair Royalty Being Accepted Now

Posted on April 4, 2022

Online applications for the junior fair royalty contest continue to be accepted until May 31st.

The Hardin County Fair announced in March that in an effort to be more inclusive and to drive engagement, the way top youth representatives are selected has been revamped.

Any high school senior involved in a junior fair organization may compete for the title of Hardin County Fair King or Queen.

Schools will no longer be responsible for determining finalists.

Applications will be judged, and the contestants will interview at a time and date that will be determined in the future.

The finalists will be recognized at the Hardin County Fair King and Queen Crowning ceremony in front of the grandstands on Tuesday of the fair.

The royalty program is being sponsored by Mid-Ohio Energy Cooperative.
