This weekend, Ohio and neighboring states will participate in the 6-State Trooper Project.

The project began at midnight this morning and will run through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.

Troopers from the Indiana State Police, Kentucky State Police, Michigan State Police, Pennsylvania State Police, West Virginia State Police, and the Ohio State Highway Patrol will participate in the campaign, meant to provide an enhanced, coordinated effort against impaired driving.

219 drivers were arrested for OVI by the Ohio State Highway Patrol during last year’s 6-State campaign.

More information on the 6-State Trooper Project may be found by calling (614) 752-2792.
