The Ohio State Highway Patrol is asking motorists to remember to Move Over or Slow Down.
That after a trooper’s cruiser was struck by a semi this morning along Interstate 77 near Marietta while conducting a traffic stop.
The trooper was transported by air to Grant Medical Center in Columbus with non-life threatening injuries.
Two others involved were transported to a local hospital in Marietta.
Ohio law requires drivers to move over or slow down and proceed with caution when approaching stationary public safety vehicles with lights activated.
