OSP Releases Results of Marion OVI Checkpoint

The Ohio State Highway Patrol released the results of an OVI checkpoint held in Marion this past Friday.

The checkpoint was held Friday evening September 15 on Mount Vernon Avenue near Forest Lawn Boulevard in Marion.

Officers made contact with 694 vehicles that passed through the checkpoint. 

Nine vehicles were diverted for further investigation and three impaired drivers were arrested for OVI.

The Marion City Police Department and Marion County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the operation of the checkpoint.
