The Ohio State Highway Patrol reminded motorists to slow down.
The Patrol reported that on Christmas Eve, a trooper stopped a vehicle on U.S. Route 24 in Lucas County for going 121 miles an hour in a 70 mile an hour zone.
During this year, there have been 26,598 speed-related crashes on Ohio roads.
The Patrol stated that should serve as a reminder to slow down so you can make it to your destination safely.
