WASHINGTON, D.C. – This evening, Congressman Bob Latta (R-OH5) will be joined by Paul Kalmbach, the President of Kalmbach Feeds, Inc., for the President’s State of the Union Address.
Ohio’s Fifth Congressional District is home to more than 60,000 manufacturing jobs.
Kalmbach Feeds, Inc. and its family of companies employ over 600 team members serving customers in the eastern two-thirds of the country, including Northwest Ohio. Kalmbach Feeds, Inc. has locations in the Fifth Congressional District in Upper Sandusky and Carey.
“As President of Kalmbach Feeds, Inc., Paul Kalmbach has seen first-hand how strong Republican policies, such as the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, have raised wages, encouraged businesses to hire new workers, enabled the purchase of needed equipment, and empowered businesses to make investments for a brighter future,” said Latta. “Paul understands that when the manufacturing sector is strong, our communities are better off. I’m glad Paul can join me today as President Trump addresses the nation to highlight what we have accomplished together so far and what is still yet to come for our country.”
“Congressman Latta’s efforts have assisted in reducing taxes and regulations impacting businesses like mine, and he is a strong supporter of policies promoting a healthier manufacturing climate in Ohio and across the United States,” said Kalmbach. “I want to thank Congressman Latta for his invitation to attend President Trump’s State of the Union Address in the Capitol and I look forward to hearing the President’s speech this evening.”
