Pedestrian Hit by Vehicle in Kenton Crosswalk

A Kenton woman was injured after she was struck by a vehicle in the 900 block of East Columbus Street in Kenton Tuesday morning.

According to the report from the Kenton Police Department, 82 year old Maybelle McPherson was walking across Columbus Street when she was hit by the car being operated by 18 year old Colton Howard, of Kenton, who was turning left onto Columbus from hester Street.

McPherson was transported to Hardin Memorial Hospital for treatment of injuries.

Howard was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian.
