Pedestrian in Findlay Struck by Car

A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a car in Findlay Thursday evening in the 1600 block of Fostoria Avenue.

According to a release from the Findlay Police Department, Benjamin Phillips, 23 of Findlay, darted across the road and was struck by an eastbound car being driven by Gara Sadler, 73 of Findlay.

Phillips struck the hood and the front and back windshield of the car before landing on the road.

He was transported to Blanchard Valley Hospital with serious injuries.

No citations have been issued at this time, and the crash remains under investigation.
