Phase 1 Construction Work Progressing on Detroit Street

Construction on South Detroit in Kenton is nearing completion.

According to information on the City of Kenton Government Facebook page, Riley Contracting from Norwalk, Ohio, is boring the sewer line under the railroad tracks across Detroit Street.

In addition, new concrete curbs and sidewalks are being installed in the 200 block on the east side of Detroit Street.

Work is expected to continue through next week and then move to south Main Street the week of March 17.
