Possible Murder/Suicide Reported in Lima

A possible murder/suicide also occurred in Lima Wednesday evening.

According to a release from the Lima Police Department, officers were called to 624 West Ford Avenue in the city in reference to a possible shooting.

Police Officers made entry into the residence and located Mikki Starr, 27 years old, and Zachary Starr, 29 years old. Both were residents at that address.  

Both had sustained gunshot wounds and had died from their injuries.

A preliminary investigation indicates Mr. Starr shot his wife Mikki, before turning the firearm on himself.  

Results of the investigation are pending the Lucas County Coroner’s autopsy reports on both individuals.
