The Public Utilities Commission of Ohio adopted a settlement agreement that authorizes Aqua Ohio, which serves residents in Marion County, to increase its rates for water service.
Aqua will add a just over 3.7% surcharge to customer bills until the utility’s next distribution rate case before the PUCO.
In its application, Aqua stated it has made $18 million in infrastructure improvements and replacements since its last distribution rate case and requested a charge of nearly 3.8%.
