The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Hardin County takes place on July 19, 2019 at 6 pm at the Courthouse square in Kenton. Together, we can beat our biggest rival. Join local volunteers and participants as we celebrate people who have been touched by cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action for lifesaving change.

The opening ceremony, which includes a special Survivors Lap, will begin at 6 pm. We want to honor all cancer survivors at our survivor dinner and relay for life event. The dinner is for the cancer survivor plus one guest. It will be held Friday July 19 at the Kenton Elks. Sign in begins at 4 pm. To register for the event please email your name, address and shirt size to marlene.brooks@ohiohealth.com or call 419-675-8257 by July 12.

Invite the whole family to join in as you walk around the courthouse square. You can participate in the many activities that each team will have at their site. There will be music, food and activities for everyone at the main event. Stay for the Luminaria ceremony that will take place toward the end of the evening. Luminaria’s can be purchased from any team member or from the relay for life website.

Businesses, groups or organizations can also participate in the event. The leadership committee is looking for people to perform at the event. We are also looking for people that are willing to wear a costume. If you are interested in sponsoring the event, having a team at the event, performing at the event, wearing a costume during the event, being a vendor at the event or you would like to be part of the planning committee then contact Alli Hermiller at Allison.hermiller@cancer.org or Kristie Fay at krogercrusaders@yahoo.com.
