Kenton, Ohio – May 9, 2019 – On July 19, Many participants will join together at the annual Relay For Life of Hardin County at the Kenton Courthouse square to help the American Cancer Society attack cancer from every angle.

The event starts at 6 pm and will last until midnight. The theme this year is Christmas in July. The American Cancer Society is the cause fighting cancer on every front; standing shoulder to shoulder with cancer patients and those supporting them. Funds raised help the American Cancer Society attack cancer in dozens of ways, each of them critical to achieving a world without cancer – from developing breakthrough therapies to building supportive communities, from providing empowering resources to deploying activists to raise awareness. The Relay For Life movement unites communities across the globe to celebrate people who have been touched by cancer, remember loved ones lost, and take action for lifesaving change. We invite the Hardin County community to join us against the fight for a world without cancer

Local cancer survivors understand first-hand how vital these services are. Services include providing rides to appointments, wigs and just someone to share their story with. A Luminaria can be dedicated to show support of someone that has cancer, to honor someone or in memory of someone that had cancer. A Luminaria is just $10.00. They can be purchased through any Relay for Life team member, online at www.relayforlife.org/hardincounty or at the main event on July 19.

In addition to the support of the community, Relay For Life of Hardin County is also supported by many local businesses and organizations. If you would like to be a sponsor of this year’s Hardin County Relay for life please contact our sponsorship committee by May 25, 2019 to have your business name appear on the t- shirts that will be worn by all participants at the event. The leadership committee would like to thank the businesses that have already sponsored us.
