Lima, Ohio – Rhodes State College will host their annual MedPrep Day on Friday, March 15, 2019, beginning at 9:15 am in the Keese Hall Multipurpose Center. This year, over 260 high school students are expected to participate. MedPrep Day is a hands-on experience opportunity for students to explore, and experience all areas of Rhodes State’s Health Sciences programs to better determine which healthcare career best fits their personality, and interest.

“Med Prep Day is a great opportunity for students to explore exciting careers in health care. What’s more rewarding than knowing that the work you do is helping others – and even saving lives?,” said, Dr. Paula Boley, Dean of Health Sciences, “So often, students know what nurses and doctors do, but what about Rad Techs, Respiratory Therapists, or other healthcare professionals? Here at Rhodes, we offer programs that lead to many types of healthcare professions – from preventative care through rehabilitation. In healthcare, there is something for everyone!”

Rhodes State representatives will be available for media interviews between 9:30-9:45am in the Keese Hall Multipurpose Center, located at 4240 Campus Drive. For more information about Rhodes State College, please visit www.RhodesState.edu.
