Rick Allen Malone 54 of Arlington

Funeral services for Rick Malone will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 7, 2020 at The Price-McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton with Rev. Jonathan Hanover officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Cemetery in Kenton. Friends may call 1 hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Rick died on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at The James Cancer Hospital in Columbus. He was born on April 16, 1966 in Bucyrus to the late Herbert and Sandra (Jaycox) Malone. On April 18, 1987 he married Linda Strader and she survives in Arlington.

Also surviving are a daughter; Antwilla (Nate) Davis of Kenton, a step-mother; Leatha Malone of Nevada, OH, 4 sisters; Raegene (Gary) Guthrie, Lori (Rick) Beeman, Faye (Joe) Ruhl, Tonja (Scott) Newmeyer, a brother; John (Lisa) Malone, 2 grandchildren; Gatlin and Briar Davis, and 16 nieces and nephews.

Rick owned and operated the Around The Clock Daycare in Findlay and Mt. Blanchard since 1999.

Known as “Bo” to his brother, and sisters, Rick was a true family man. His true joy was his grandchildren, whom he loved to spend time with. He enjoyed going on family vacations and going on random drives through the country.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family would much rather have a donation in Rick’s honor to the Hardin County Seadragons, through the local YMCA.
