Ridgemont Board of Education Holds August Meeting

Below are the highlights from Thursday evening’s board meeting.

August 27, 2020 Board of Education Highlights:

Personnel:

Salary adjustments for step increases were approved for Candi Bodey and Nick Cox. Supplemental contracts were approved for Stephanie Jolliff and Darcy Ruppright for Extra Curricular Supervisor for the 2020-2021 school year. Teacher mentor pay, substitute teachers, and bus driver substitutes were approved for the 2020-2021 school year.

Operations – All for the 2020-2021 school year:

The NWCC League has changed their league athletic gate prices for the fall season effective August 25, 2020. Fall gate prices for all high school and junior high contests will be $5.00 per person.

A Service Level Agreement and EMIS Service Agreement was approved with the Western Ohio Computer Organization (WOCO).

An MOU was approved with the Family Resource Center of Northwest Ohio and an MOU was also approved with School Based Prevention and Education Services.

A bus maintenance bid was approved for F & S Service. Policy updates, deletions and additions were approved. The Ridgemont policies are available online at BoardDocs® LT and policies approved tonight will be updated in the next couple of weeks.

The State of Ohio appointed tuition rate of $7,157.51 was approved.

Decisions were made for being back in school on September 15th, pending Hardin County’s alert level.
