The Ridgemont Schools Board of Education held the February meeting Wednesday evening.
The board voted to accept and create an account for the Kindergarten through twelfth grade School Safety Grant in the amount of just over $85,000 that was recently awarded to the district.
They then approved purchasing a new security camera system with the money, and Tom Mustain,Technology Coordinator, explained how the district will implement the new security camera system.
In personnel items on the agenda, the board accepted the resignation from Amy Bahr as School Nurse.
That will be effective at the end of this school year.
She was recognized and thanked for her 13 years of service to the District.
The next regular Board Meeting will be on March 8.
