While Ridgemont Local Schools have made the meals they’ve given their children free of charge, the district reminds its parents to complete free-and-reduced meal applications.

Three reasons have been given as to why completing these forms is important:

  • Families who qualify for free meals will have their school fees waived for 2021.
  • Potential legislation would give qualifying families extra money for food on an EBT card.
  • Percentages of families under the free/reduced thresholds influence the district’s funding.

More information on what free/reduced lunch forms mean for Ridgemont families may be found at ridgemont.k12.oh.us.
