Ridgemont Wins Thriller Against Riverdale in Girls Backetball Action Saturday

The Ridgemont Lady Gophers edged the Riverdale Lady Falcons in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon 45-44.

Brooke Nelson lead the way for the Gophers with 16 points and adding to the win was Amanda Howland with 10 points and Callie Cromer with 8.

Leading the scoring for the Lady Falcons was Carrigan Vent with 16, Lainie Howell with 10 and Callie Sudlaw with 8.

The Gophers improve to 10-8 overall and 6-1 in the NWCC.

They are back in action on February 9th as they travel to Lincolnview in non-conference action.

Ridgemont heads into tournament action as the #7 seed and will host #8 LCC on February 18th at Ridgemont.

Riverdale, which is 6-9 overall for the season and 3-4 in the BVC, head into tournament play on February 18th as the #8 seed and will travel to #7 seed Fairview. Both games have an unofficial start time of 7pm.
