Riverdale Holds Academic Awards Night

Riverdale High School held it’s academic awards Tuesday night in the Riverdale High School Cafeteria.

More than 40 scholarships were awarded to High School Seniors during the presentation.

Awards were also given to students with perfect attendance, excellence in science, quiz bowl team awards, and academic letter winners.

Academic letters are given to students with a 3.5 gpa or above.

For 2019:

First year academic letters were given to: 33 Freshman, 6 Sophomores 6 juniors, and 11 seniors.

Second year academic letters were given to: 23 Sophomores 6 juniors, and 7 seniors.

Third year academic letters were given to: 21 juniors, and 2 seniors.

Four year academic letters were given to a total of 20 seniors.
