Riverdale Superintendent Announces Confirmed Case of COVID-19

Riverdale School residents were informed Tuesday that there was one confirmed case of COVID-19 in the Middle School.

Superintendent Jeff Young said that the school is committed to the safety and health of their students and staff, and that the Hancock County Health Department will notify anyone who had close contact with the individual.

Parents who have questions can contact the school at 419-694-2211 extension 1102 or the Hancock County Health Department at 419-424-7105.

Young went on to say that if anyone is experiencing anxiety related to the coronavirus pandemic, they can call the COVID-19 Care Line at 1-800-720-9616.

The number can be called 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
