Robber Makes Off with Undisclosed Amount of Money at Kenton’s Kroger

A robbery occurred at the Kroger store in Kenton Sunday night.

 

According to information from the Kenton Police Chief Dennis Musser, a white man dressed in all black and wearing a face covering entered the store at just after 8. 

 

He presented a note to a clerk stating this is a robbery and made off with an undisclosed amount of money.

 

He did not present a weapon.

 

An officer arriving at the scene gave chase to a small silver car leaving the scene traveling east on 67. 

 

The pursuit entered Wyandot County and was terminated after the officer determined the speeds reached and conditions became unsafe.

 

Chief Musser praised Kroger employees for handling the situation calmly and for gathering information that will aid in the investigation.

 

A Kenton Police Department detective is currently investigating and working with other agencies as they attempt to apprehend the suspect.

 

There were no injuries.
